The Results of My Weight Loss Journey: Moving Beyond Psoriasis

On my first 2 weeks of this journey I started walking 20 minutes a day. I walk 7 days a week. I didn’t take a rest day. I lost 6 pounds.

On my 3rd and 4th week I was walking 35 minutes 7 days a week. I never walk fast enough to break into a sweat, but it was working for me. I lost another 5 pounds.

On my 5th and 6th week I was up to walking 1 hour a day. Again, I was walking at my own pace. I lost 3 pounds. I got discourage, but never gave up.

On my 7th and 8th week I stayed walking an hour today. I lost 3 pounds.

On my 9th and 10th week I lost 4 pounds. I wanted to give up but had determined to keep moving forward.

On my 11th and 12th week I lost another 3 pounds.

On my 13th and 14th week I lost 4 pounds.

On my 15th and 16th week I lost another 2 pounds.

Over the next couple months, things had slowed down. I only lost 10 pounds in 8 weeks. I will stay the course and not give up.

I’m here to share my story with you.

I have lost 40 pounds.  I have 10 more pounds to go before I get to my target weight. I will get there. The goal is to be consistent. To be honest, my hour a day is more like 20 minutes now. I still walk everyday. I guess slow and steady will get me to the finish line. I will keep you updated.
