This is nothing new; health disparities have always existed for the African American community since the beginning of time. Getting the corona virus and killing us was not a shocker to us and we are not surprise. It’s like here we go again!!
We have always had decreased access to health care. This causes us to have more underlying illness along with our living conditions.
We don’t have jobs where we can work from home. So many of us have to work in the cleaning industry, health care nurses, food industry or jobs where you can’t just phone in and say, I’m working from home today. These jobs lead to exposure with so many sick people. Most likely these people aren’t wearing protective gear.
